“Love Your Block 2024”

The local Buddhist Temple–Chua Viet Nam–hosted “Love Your Block” this year, and Casserly House joined the clean-up efforts to show love to our neighborhood and care for creation.

Fall Fun Festival

Fall Fun Festival

The invitation was extended for fun, food, and fall festivities at Casserly House and thirteen neighborhood children responded, four of them new to Casserly House! Pizza was eagerly consumed before the children ventured to Roslindale Village Main Streets’ organized trick-or-treating.

Freedoms

Freedoms

On January 6, 2000, Casserly House became incorporated. On the same day in 1941, President Franklin Roosevelt delivered a speech which was later called the “Four Freedoms Speech.” The four freedoms mentioned were freedom of worship, freedom of speech, freedom from want, and freedom from fear. Are these two events, 59 years apart, connected?
