During the school vacation in February, Casserly House organized a field trip to the New England Aquarium for 8 kids in the neighborhood using free tickets from the Boston Public Library. On Thursday the 22nd, an E5 district police officer drove us from Roslindale to downtown Boston, and the kids continued their adventure with a scavenger hunt to find sea lions, seahorses, sea urchins, and more! They learned about creatures in the Atlantic and beyond and signed their names to support protecting endangered sea turtles. After exploring all 4 levels of the aquarium, we went for a walk along the water and ate our packed lunches in a conference room generously provided to us by the Boston Marriot Long Wharf. This was a great space to play duck-duck-goose and musical chairs!
