As planning for classes and events for the next school year unfolds, it is good to savor summer and recall the last week of classes in June!
Adult learners practiced their English while creating summer-themed decorations for their apartments. A brief lesson on scrimshaw was offered before adult learners created scrimshaw-designed soap. Another activity involved shadow boxes that were enhanced by colorful paint, pictures and designs. Then, of course, we played the next generation of SUMMER BINGO 2.023! With simple refreshments, we had fun with our creative learning and with each other.
May all enjoy these summer days and find time to enjoy the surprises of nature this time of year.
