On May 8th at Casserly House, the doorbell rang and there was a neighbor smiling with joy who asked to see Donna. She reached out to Donna to hug her while jumping up and down. This neighbor had come to share the good news that her daughter had been accepted at Boston Latin School. She expressed her gratitude to God, Casserly House, and Donna.

You might remember the March news article entitled: “The Currency of Information.”  This article highlighted the difficulty of navigating registration for the exam schools in Boston that almost resulted in a missed opportunity. Donna Stiglmeier, Director of Casserly House, made some appropriate phone calls that led to the neighbor’s daughter being able to take the exam. Now, because of the daughter’s exam performance, she is going to Boston Latin School in September! It is a blessing to be able to share good news in these challenging times.
