About Mary Beth

Mary O’Sullivan, also known at Casserly House as Mary Beth, is a Dorchester native.  Mary Beth is a member of the Ignatian Volunteer Corps and came to Casserly House in 2016.  She brings with her the experience of a speech language pathologist in the Boston Public Schools.  Mary Beth has always wanted to work with adults who are learning English, because she admired the tenacity that is required to learn another language as an adult.  Feeling a desire to support the immigrant community, Mary Beth found Casserly House.  In addition to her passion for education, Mary Beth enjoys the art of storytelling, whether it is listening to others stories, or creating her own.  Either way, we are glad Mary Beth has made Casserly House part of her story!
