On Wednesday, November 20th, Casserly House After School students and friends took to the basketball court for a community-building kids vs. adults basketball game. With help from Officer Elvis Garcia of the E-5 Police, and the generous gym space of the Roslindale Community Center, we were able to enjoy a competitive, fun-filled game that got everyone involved! Our students learned about teamwork, sportsmanship, and how to have fun while being active. The generous donations of food from the Roslindale Market and Roslindale House of Pizza allowed everyone to fill their bellies after we earned our dinner on the court! Thank you to all who attended and made it such a great event.
