Emma is the After School Program Coordinator and recently moved to Boston from Arlington, Virginia. She graduated from Georgetown University with a degree in Theology. Before coming to Casserly, Emma worked with children in a variety of capacities in the Washington, D.C. area. She worked with high schoolers at a community center in Southeast D.C. and with elementary schoolers as a literacy tutor in D.C. public schools. She also spent time developing educational curricula for very young children. Emma came to Casserly House because she loves supporting young minds as they learn the skills needed for future success. She also loves being among the strong community of neighbors that surrounds Casserly. When not at Casserly, Emma enjoys visiting museums and going running in nature.
