A family filled with joy!
I love the rocks!
One young girl, opening a backpack thoughtfully prepared just for her, lit up with joy and said,
“I am really happy for all the stuff I got. I love you so much!”
Another child was delighted by the creative personal touches: “I love the (painted) rocks!” they shared, holding them up proudly.
And a young boy offered a quiet but powerful message of gratitude: “I’m really thankful for everything.”
For many families in our community, this support came at a critical time. One neighborhood mother, who is facing the hardship of losing her job due to immigration challenges, shared through tears, “Oh, I didn’t get school supplies for the girls. This is so very helpful. God is good.”
Even our adult learners felt the impact. One woman, who is both a mother and grandmother, beamed as she held up a backpack, saying, “Oh, this Spider-Man backpack is perfect. He loves Spider-Man!”
It reminded us that—just like Spider-Man—everyday acts of generosity help protect, uplift, and teach life’s most important lessons.
To Spirit of Life Community and Backpacks for New Beginnings: thank you for being heroes in our story. Because of you, our kids are starting the school year feeling seen, supported, and loved.
