On Friday, January 31st, Casserly House families gathered together to make our own joy and share in spending time together. Rain cancelled our plans for a bonfire, but we found another way to make s’mores, paper snowflakes, and even marshmallow artwork!
One parent, our advisory board member Esperanza, generously brought hot chocolate to share as we air-fried marshmallows, designed snowflakes, and had an artistic contest of “snowpeople” made from icing, cookies, toothpicks, and marshmallows.
Good neighbors know how to spark laughter and spread warmth even when Plan A falls away, knowing that being there for each other even on dark and dreary days is what matters most.
