On March 28, 17 adult learners from Casserly House traveled through the rain from Forest Hills and Hyde Park to attend the Immigrants’ Day event hosted by the MIRA Coalition. After listening to the speakers and performers, our classes met with Rep. Rob Consalvo and the staff of Senator Mike Rush to discuss language access, the budget, and the importance of education.
