As the 2021-2022 year at Casserly House comes to a close, we wanted to share with you two events we held during the month of June for our morning ESOL adult learners and Academic Enrichment kids!

On June 16, the Academic Enrichment Program threw an end-of-the-year party, with a very special performance from Davey the Clown! The kids got to have ice cream treats and watch as Davey blew balloons for all of the kids to enjoy! We were also very excited to welcome back familiar faces we hadn’t seen in a while! With this event being outside, we were glad to welcome all to a safe and fun summer party! Here’s a photo to show a little bit of Davey’s exciting performance!

At the end of the month, Casserly House held multiple ESOL gatherings from June 27-29 so that all adult learners could choose a morning gathering that worked best for them. The ESOL adult learners got to paint rocks and play Bingo, all while enjoying a Dunkin coffee and donut! It was a great chance for the adult learners to get to know more about each other outside of the classroom, as well as celebrate all of their accomplishments this year! Below is a picture of some of our learners and instructors!

We are so thankful for the students, both morning and afternoon, that come to Casserly House and make this space so special! All who come to 42 Stellman make Casserly House what it is – a welcoming space. We look forward to seeing both familiar and new faces in the fall with our ESOL and Family Engagement programs!
