‘Twas the Week Before Christmas, and All Through Casserly House…

We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of our community this Christmas season. The festivities started with a special visit to the E-5 Police Station as they hosted 20 of our students and their siblings for a Christmas spectacular! A special thanks to Officer Nicole England for all of her help in organizing the holiday fun. With a DJ dance party, special Christmas tree crafts, and a visit from Santa, it is safe to say every child went to bed, while visions of sugar plums danced in their heads.

We ended our Christmas season celebrations with our Prayer Service at Casserly House. The eight tiny reindeer made an appearance, and with the help of Superintendent Nora Baston, Officer Luis Vazguez, and Officer Ed Roach, we even got another visit from Ol’ St. Nick. Each present was wrapped, by the Walnut Park Montessori School with care, and help from the Ursuline Academy, who brought some teddy bears.

We feel very blessed this Holiday season for such strong community partnerships. Wishing everyone a happy and healthy New Year. Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
